Welcome to my web page. The purpose of this page is to introduce myself, explain my teaching philosophy, and provide opportunities for you to share what goes on in class through links to photos, stories, and grade level standards in reading, writing and math.
I am very excited to be part of the kindergarten team at Crocker Highlands. I was born and raised in Los Angeles and attended the University of CA, Irvine. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I participated in the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Programme and lived and worked in Japan for two years. I began my teaching career with the Los Angeles Unified School District and received my teaching credential through their District Intern Program. I taught kindergarten for 6 years and earned my master’s degree in Educational Administration from CalState, Northridge. My husband, Cliff and I moved to the Bay Area in 2007. We have two daughters, Raegan (9) and Renee (5). We live in Moraga with our mischievous Siberian Husky, Jace. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, snowboarding, hanging out with the family and sleeping as much as I can. I look forward to an amazing year of learning and fun.
